Better Retirement Living for Seniors

This workshop brought together builders, government leaders, manufacturers, experts, and stakeholders in Net-Zero housing, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and zoning. Participants explored how innovative technologies and building techniques can collaborate to deliver a sustainable energy future and benefit homeowners, organizations, and communities.

The event emphasized turning policy into practice, addressing Ontario’s mandate for affordable housing and Net-Zero construction. By collaborating with private and non-profit sectors, the workshop aimed to accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient solutions. Attendees had the opportunity to learn from leading innovators, participate in panel discussions, and engage with key stakeholders in various networking sessions. Behrang was one of the key speakers who presented our architectural research and innovations focused on energy-saving, affordability, and the cultural values of the Famee Furlane Senior Living project.
